Who we are

Jay By Jay is a software and associated services company committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of clients and web site visitors. We are not in the business of collecting, selling, renting or trading any email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. Any information that is collected during a visit to our web site is strictly for statistical analysis or to allow us to respond to your specific query.

Types of data we collect

Website Cookies

Our web sites do not currently record any information using cookies. This policy will be updated if we should need to do this and cookie information would only ever be used to improve the user web site experience.

Google Analytics

When someone visits our web site we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Wifi

Jay By Jay Wi-Fi network is a private network that is not for public use. Should you request and be granted access to our private wi-fi network we may collect data about:
a) your device;
b) the volume of data which you use;
c) the websites and applications which you access; and
d) your usage by access time, frequency and location.

Mailing Lists

We do not currently operate any email mailing lists or collect any personal data for the purposes of email mailing list generation.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Jonathan Brown at jonathan@jaybyjay.co.uk

Changes to this Privacy Notice

We will review this policy on an annual basis or whenever we amend the structure of any data collection processes. Next review date will be 5th May 2019.
